Payal Gandhi grew up obsessed with interiors, architecture and fashion design. After graduating from Wharton, she embarked on a long career in hospitality, finance and real estate development.
Over the years, she noticed her friends would come to her for advice on how to invest their hard-earned dollars in quality assets, not only their homes but also their furniture and wardrobe items.
No advice came without fun unexpected design tips, from details like where to find the best down pillows, to how to reupholster furniture yourself, or where not to buy throw blankets.
“It’s an honor to open a store in one of my favorite cities in the world: sensible yet dreamy, calm but also dynamic, foggy but also colorful, and of course, multicultural to its core — San Francisco.
I try to keep the collection reflective of what I feel is alive in the city, a place of dreams and goals, a place that holds us through our missions, challenges, and identities.”
Our Story
In 2023, Payal launched her concept Miss Queen’s House, a place where women could come to get sound advice related to their home spaces and wardrobes, from renovations to restyling for a new professional role, to hosting memorable parties through cultural holidays.
In supporting clients while continuing her work in real estate and design, she discovered an enormous admiration for women.
“In the heart of every woman, there resides a timeless spirit,” she reflected at the end of that year, “neither defined by age nor confined by youth.”
She opened her storefront in late 2024, and is currently welcoming in the whose-who of the Bay Area, to browse her treasures and enjoy evenings with small groups of friends, learning subjects, building networks, and embracing every facet of life.
